Muhammad Atif Aslam is a Pakistani playback singer, songwriter, composer and actor who is best known for his songs in the Pakistani and Indian motion-picture show industries.[1] He has recorded many songs in both Pakistan and India and is known for his vocal belting technique.[1] [2]

He predominantly sings in Urdu and oftentimes in Hindi, simply has also sung in Punjabi, Bengali and Pashto. With a number of successful songs, he is often considered one of the best playback singers in the Indian and Pakistani music industries of all times.[3] [4] [v] In 2008, Aslam received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, the fourth-highest noncombatant honour laurels from the Pakistani government. He is also a recipient of a number of Lux Style Awards.[six] Aslam fabricated his acting debut in 2011 with the Urdu social drama film Bol. Early on life [edit]

Atif Aslam was built-in on 12 March 1983[thirteen] [14] [fifteen] into a Punjabi Muslim family unit in Wazirabad, Pakistan. He went to Kimberley Hall School in Lahore until 1991, when he moved to Rawalpindi and continued his studies at St. Paul's Cambridge School in Satellite Town. In 1995, Aslam returned to Lahore where he continued his studies at a Divisional Public School and Higher (DPSC) co-operative. He proceeded to attend Fazaia Inter College for his HSSC from 1999 to 2001, and later went to PICS to pursue a bachelor'due south degree in figurer science.[16] [17] In an interview, Aslam revealed that his ambition around this fourth dimension was to become a professional cricketer.[18]

Aslam has stated that he had no initial formal training in music, and was non interested in the thought of pursuing a musical career over one in cricket. Anthology'southward song "Hangami Halaat" was nominated in 2009 in "MTV Brrr Music Awards" in the category "Best Rock Song".

In 2008, he recorded iii versions of Pehli Nazar Mein and Bakhuda Tumhi Ho from Race and Kismat Konnection respectively equanimous by Pritam with lyrics by Sameer and Sayeed Qaudri respectively. In 2011, he sang a song from the film F.A.L.T.U, composed by Sachin-Jigar titled "Le Ja Tu Mujhe" with lyrics written by Sameer Anjaan. The same year, he sang two songs "Hona Tha Pyar" and "Kaho Aaj Bol Do" with Hadiqa Kiani for the film Pakistani motion-picture show Bol in which he was cast as atomic number 82 role.[32] [33]

Chief Rang Sharbaton Ka was nominated at Earth Music Awards in 2014 for "Best Song".[39] [40] [41] [42] "Main Rang Sharbaton Ka" fetched several awards and multiple nominations for him.[43] Zameen Jaagti Hai and Tu Khaas Hai were released in Pakistan.

In 2014, he recorded 2 songs for the pic Entertainment, "Tera Naam Doon" and "Nahi Woh Saamne". Both songs were composed by Sachin-Jigar with lyrics written past Priya Panchal. He too sang QMobile Noir i10 ad song "Dil Se Dil" and Etisalat advertizing song "Faasle".

2015 [edit]

He worked with Sachin-Jigar for the song Jeena Jeena for the film Badlapur,[44] The song Jeena Jeena topped various charts and was one of the biggest hits of 2015, which also got him a nomination for the Filmfare award for best playback vocaliser.[45] [46] [47] Same twelvemonth he also recorded Dil Kare for Ho Mann Jahaan.[48] [49] [50]

He worked with musical duo Sachin-Jigar for Toota Jo Kabhi Taara and Khair Mangda for the moving-picture show A Flying Jatt.[55]

The same year, Pehli Dafa starring Aslam and Ileana D'Cruz was released, which was a composition of Shiraz Uppal.[66] A unmarried "Younhi" written by Atif himself released on Atif'south birthday, which featured Aslam and Nicolli Dela Nina.[67] "Noor-east-Azal" Hamd released, sung by Aslam and Abida Parveen, a composition of Shani Arshad. In January 2019, "Auliya" song from Hum Chaar released, composed by Vipin Patwa. On 25 May 2021 T-Series Released a song "Chief Taare" from the flick Notebook sung by Salman Khan simply this song was Originally Recorded by Atif Aslam, On 12th June 2021, Atif released 'Main Taare' in his Original voice.

"In Dinon" and "Anjaana" from Superstar movie were also released.[88] Pardadari, sung past Aslam and Abida Parveen as well released.[89] He as well sang "Shaheen-e-Pakistan" for the ISPR, which was released on Pakistan 24-hour interval.[90]

On Oct 24, 2021, Coke Studio released his new song ''Cricket Khidaiye''[120] with Faris Shafi and Talal Qureshi on the occasion of T-20 World Loving cup 2021.Also, this year he'll do his debut drama 'Sang-due east-Mah',[121] he announced on his Instagram business relationship and the trailers are also released.

He married educationist Sara Bharwana in Lahore on 29 March 2013; Atif said in an interview that the couple dated for seven years before they got married.[149] [150] [151]
